United Nations Commission on International Trade Law
UNCITRAL was established in 1966 to aid in harmonizing and unifying
international trade law. The Commission has focused on four principal
international areas: (a) sales of goods, (b) payments, (c) commercial
arbitration, and (d) legislation pertaining to shipping. The Commission
issues publications and sponsors training in international trade law.
