Transit Trip

A one-way trip by a transit vehicle in revenue service starting at one terminal point of a route and ending at another terminal point. A round trip is counted as two separate trips. In the case where the route is a pure loop involving entirely different streets and pick-up points, and where there is no logical way to identify the terminal points, then traversing of the loop can be regarded as a single trip. (FTA1)
