Finished Motor Gasoline

1) A complex mixture of relatively volatile hydrocarbons, with or without small quantities of additives, blended to form a fuel suitable for use in spark-ignition engines. Specification for motor gasoline, as given in American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Specification D439-88 or Federal Specification VV-G-1690B, include a boiling range of 122 degrees to 158 degrees Fahrenheit at the 10-percent point to 365 degrees to 374 degrees Fahrenheit at the 90-percent point and a Reid vapor pressure range from 9 to 15 psi. "Motor gasoline" includes finished leaded gasoline, finished unleaded gasoline, and gasohol. Blendstock is excluded until blending has been completed. (Alcohol that is to be used in the blending of gasohol is also excluded.) 2) Motor gasoline that is not included in the reformulated or oxygenated categories. (DOE3) (DOE5)
