European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization
The European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, CENELEC, is a
non-profit-making international organization under Belgian law. CENELEC
seeks to harmonize electrotechnical standards published by the national
organizations and to remove technical barriers to trade that may be caused
by differences in standards. CENELEC members include: Austria, Belgium,
Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and
the United Kingdom.
