Development Fund for Africa

The DFA channels all U.S. development assistance to Sub-Saharan Africa.
The Fund has put emphasis on certain sectors, including agricultural
production in connection with the preservation of natural resources,
health, voluntary family planning, education, and income generation. The
Fund is administered by the U.S. Agency for International Development; it
was enacted by Congress in 1987.
