Inboard Engine, Outboard Engine, and Stern Drive Unit. Specific equipment, besides completed boats, which has been designated in 33 (CFR) 179.03 as being subject to the requirements of 46 (U.S.C.) 4310. Other items of associated equipment may be the cause for recall of boats, but the manufacturers of those items of associated equipment are not subject to the requirement for recall. (USCG1)
