Category III Operations
With respect to the operation of aircraft, means an Instrument Landing System (ILS) approach to, and landing on, the runway of an airport using a Category III ILS instrument approach procedure issued by the [Federal Aviation Administration] Administrator or other appropriate authority. (14CFR1)
