Registered Active General Aviation Aircraft

A civil aircraft registered with the FAA that has been flown one or more hours during the previous calendar year. Excluded are aircraft owned and operated in regularly scheduled, non-scheduled, or charter service by commercial air carriers and aircraft in excess of 12,500 pounds maximum gross takeoff weight, and owned and operated by a commercial operator certificated by the FAA to engage in intrastate common carriage. (FAA14)
