An abbreviated invoice, sent in advance of the regular invoice for the customs clearance of the goods, the purpose being to acquaint the importer and/or government authorities of the importing country with the main details of a shipment to be made and showing reasonably close approximations of the actual weights, quantities, and values. (TNDOT1)
