Average Weekday

A representative weekday in the operation of the transit system computed as the mathematical average of several typical weekdays selected at random throughout the year. A typical weekday is one where there are no anomalies such as high ridership due to extra service added for a convention, or low ridership due to a snowstorm. Average Saturday and Sunday data, including holiday service, are determined the same way. (FTA1)
