African Export-Import Bank

AFREXIMBANK offers short-term export trade financing to African exporters
aimed at enhancing intra-African trade and Africa's exports. Agreement to
create the bank was basedon a January 1993 agreement reached in Cairo,
Egypt among African governments, central banks, regional and sub-regional
financial institutions and other organizations. Bank headquarters are
located in Cairo, Egypt.
