Aerial Application

Any use of an aircraft for work purposes which concerns the production of foods, fibers, and health control in which the aircraft is used in lieu of farm implements or ground vehicles for the particular task accomplished. This includes fire fighting operations, the distribution of chemicals or seeds in agriculture, reforestation, or insect control. (FAA2) (FAA9)
