Blue Lantern

Blue Lantern, a procedure pertaining to U.S. Munitions List items, is
intended to verify that information stated on export license applications
is valid and that the use of the commodity or service exported is
consistent with the terms of the license. It includes prelicense and
postshipment checks of export applications conducted by designated
officials at U.S. embassies. Blue Lantern was initiated in September 1990
